Research
Our lab (PI2L) focuses on designing/synthesizing deformable ionic conductors and functional polymer materials, developing effective strategies to control their physical properties and performance, and applying these ionic conductors in next-generation ionotronic devices to fully exploit their potential.
The details research areas include (please 'click' the links connected to each category):
(1) Design and synthesis of functional ionic conductors: high-toughness, self-healable platforms (link)
(2) Electrochemical displays: transparent electrochromic (EC) displays and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) displays (link)
(3) Ionic energy harvesters: thermogalvanic cells and ionic triboelectric generators (link)
(4) Energy storage devices: Li-batteries (polymer binders/membranes/electrolytes) and supercapacitors (link)
(5) Wearable ionoskins: strain/pressure/temperature sensors (link)
